Serafine Lilien
Elephants are one of the few species on Earth with a deeply matriarchal social structure. Older females — the matriarchs — lead their families, share wisdom across generations, and protect their young with fierce devotion. They mourn their dead. They remember their friends. They are, in many ways, mirrors of our own most tender humanity. Serafine Lilien honors that feminine wisdom and intergenerational care. Each sculpted elephant represents not just a creature, but a relationship — a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt. Together, they form a family. There's something deeply intentional about Lilien's choice of medium. Clay is one of the oldest artistic materials known to humans. It's tactile, earthbound, and unforgiving — every fingerprint, every gesture, becomes part of the final piece. To sculpt an elephant in clay is to slow down. To honor. To memorialize a species that has walked this earth for millions of years and now finds itself fighting to remain. In Lilien's hands, clay becomes a language of remembrance and resistance.

Tori Tissell - StoriArts
It started with a need and a passion for good books. In 2011, our founder Tori Tissell, fresh out of design school and living under a mountain of debt, needed Christmas presents for her family. Remembering the books that had helped her through tough times before, the concept of the Pride and Prejudice Book Scarf was born, then mere weeks later, Storiarts. Our passion is to spread the love of great literature with tangible reminders of your favorite books, poems, and stories, because great literature can change the world.

Val Hubbard
I am an abstract landscape artist whose work is influenced by my surroundings. My paintings balance the abstraction with suggestions of familiar places. Viewers say my paintings feel familiar and my hope is they can write their own story. I am a self-taught artist working in mixed media, cold wax and oil. I am very fortunate to have met other artists in the community that have helped me along the way.
