By creating art, I am channeling our animalistic nature to understand our intentional divorce from the natural world in hopes to reconnect with it. This can look like an exploration of colonialism and native landscapes, it can be formed through figurative expressions of my own body and often integrates my knowledge as a forager and plant lover.
